Decode Exhibition
05/02/2010

At 1977 Design we have an enthusiasm for advances in technology so the Decode exhibition at the V&A was right up our street.

Decode's artists presented various ways of visualising digital information in ways that we've never seen before. There are installations that have the ability to respond to movement and animations that react to sound. Our favourite by far was Solar by Flight404. Check out the play section of our site to see some recorded footage.

Throughout the exhibition there are many examples of what can only be described as visual porn. Surely, our job as designers is to suggest an appropriate use for it.
