Design and the Public Good
02/03/2010

Today saw 1977 Design in the House of Lords. No, we haven't been awarded a peerage just yet but were there for the launch of the DBA and the APDIG report on 'Design and the Public Good'.

The report is subtitled 'Creativity vs the procurement process' and is intended to look at ways in which design can be acquired in a more effective and conducive way than by using the very laborious and restrictive procurement process. The discussion today was very enlightening, and once we have read through the report we picked up we'll be sure to have more to say on this.

Thanks to the DBA for broaching a very important issue in our industry. Here's to the next step.
