Bansko!

Using up the last days of my holiday saw me booking a weeks skiing in Bansko, Bulgaria. Bansko is quickly becoming one of the leading ski resorts in Bulgaria, luckily my brother has an apartment out there (email for good accommodation rates if you fancy a hol!). Not having skied for 10 years (and when I did back then it was only for about 3 days) I was expecting to be careering down the mountain shrieking, but somehow I was pretty good, so much so I didn't fall over all week!
The weather was great, sun in the daytime and snow in the evening which made for perfect skiing conditions, and the views were breath-taking! We got thoroughly involved in the aprés ski action and enjoyed all the food and local beer we could stomach.
Even though we were skiing every day it was a really relaxing break and I'm definitely heading back there!
