We were asked the question by the Design Week VoxPop, "Wayne Hemingway's Vintage at Goodwood Festival takes inspiration from the 1940s to the present day. Which historical period do you find most inspiring and why?"

The Clash's debut album The Clash is released, London to New York supersonic Concorde service is inaugurated, Star Wars opens in cinemas, Virginia Wade wins the women's singles at Wimbledon, Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols is released, Centre Georges Pompidou is officially opened, Liverpool FC win the European Cup, the first Apple Computer goes on sale. We’re all about 1977.
