Naturalis 7

Sea gallery last night saw the launch of the latest Naturalis brochure designed by Sea for GF Smith. Naturalis is set in the new typeface Aktiv Grotesk designed by Bruno Maag, claiming that this is everything Helvetica is not.

There was an interesting debate between Maag and Patrick Burgoyne (editor of Creative Review) about why Aktiv Grotesk is a better and a more considered typeface than Helvetica.

It was great to hear Bruno Maag speak so passionately about typography giving us his thoughts on Helvetica and the reasons why he has created its better rival.
